House of the Ferret specializes in 18th and 19th century American antiques, with particular expertise in samplers, spatterware,
folk art, early lighting and fine nautical. We "stretch" to buy the rare and unusual,
so a surprise is more than likely when viewing our inventory. You never know what
treasure you might find!
Our goal is to offer collectors at all levels a chance to develop and enhance
their knowledge of American Antiques and those items made for the American market.
Our desire is to develop and cultivate long term relationships with our customers
and to enhance their collecting experience.
Our emphasis is upon education . . . sharing our knowledge and expertise
. . . providing the collector the opportunity to fulfill their advanced collecting
needs and giving the beginning collector the confidence to begin building a meaningful
collection.
We are Roger Perry and Rita King and we welcome you to OUR house! Besides
our shop in South Deerfield, we also exhibit at several major group shops . .
. The York Antiques Gallery in York, Maine, MacDougall-Gionet in Wells, Maine, and
Antique Associates at West Townsend, Massachusetts.
We welcome your visit when next you visit New England, but in the meantime,
please browse through our online catalog and let us know if there is something
you "can't live without"!
