Rams Horn Hearth Trivet

Early American Hand Wrought Iron Hearth Trivet.  Beautifully forged with tripod penny feet forge welded to the ring and extending into the center creating 3 supporting "Rams Horns".  The blacksmith was most skilled as evidenced in this artistic find.  Definitely a "Ten"!  20-1/2" long and 10" in diameter.  Condition is very fine.  Circa 1650-1725.
