Silhouette - Lady Doyle

Portraits of young women are always appealing.  Charming in its simplicity this silhouette shows a true artist at work.  The sitter is identified on the reverse as Lady Doyle, wife of Sir Charles Doyle.  She appears poised and confident but not overly so.  The silhouette is in very fine condition and framed in a pressed brass frame.
