| 19th C.Hourglass with Storage Tin
As depicted, five turned, incised and tapering spindles joining the round endplates that are made of pine. The on piece bulb is intact; wire was added insuring the integrity of the frame . . . probably because the owner was concerned with shrinking spindles.
The sheet iron canister in great old paint appears to have been made for this sandglass and is in original paint. (Height: 7.25 inches; diameter: 3.75 inches).
