Mid 19th Century Floor Candlestand

Presented here, a unique two candle cup with splint holder floor standard on tripod base with spider legs.  Blacksmith made with full height adjustable span on splint holder/ cup unit that allows that unit to be adjusted up or down the shaft, allowing for the candles to burn at different heights. Stamped U F M.  Circa mid to late 1800's.  Height is 35-1/4" on the stationary shaft and condition is excellent.
