Slip Decorated Mixing Bowl with the name "EVA"

Presented here, a slip decorated Redware Mixing Bowl with the name "EVA".  A beautiful glaze on the interior and rim and unglazed on the outside. A most uncommon item, especially in this size.  The condition is outstanding.  Utilitarian bowls such as these were used and used up thus few remain.  Most likely this bowl was made as a special order piece as a present for a loved one and so shows very little wear . . .  A treasured possession that was displayed rather than used. 12-1/2 inches in diameter and 5 inches high.
