Saffron Jar

Heigel lidded and decorated Treen Saffron Jar, circa 1880, Ephrata, Lancaster County, PA.

Decoration consists of three colorful floral sprays on a mustard ground. Surface shows wear consistent with age and usage.  The lid fits tightly and the overall condition is fine with no chips or cracks just the distressed surface which I personally find charming.  It's not perfect, but what in this world is?
