Profile Watercolor of a Gentleman
Presented here, a finely executed watercolor of a gentleman. The detail work has the esthetics and painterly quality of an accomplished artist and many pains have been taken to give the hair a soft, realistic appearance. There appears to be an illegible Brooklyn address written in pencil on the back. The piece is in very fine condition and is what appears to be it's original frame. We would date this circa, 1810-20 from the details of the dress as well as the hairstyle.
Size (framed) is 6-1/4"wide x 7" high.
