Grain Painted New Hampshire Candlestand, c. 1780

Fine New Hampshire Tripod Candlestand.  The table is made of Maple with faux rosewood grain paint.  Excellent original surface.  Square Top.  Bold center post is Urn and Ring turned and dovetailed into its three substantial legs that end in cushioned, well formed snake feet.  Good balance and design make this a great little country table. The top is 19-1/2" x 19-1/4" and the stand is 26-3/4" tall.   American, circa 1780.
