Slip Decorated Redware Tart Plate

Presented here, a wonderful small Pennsylvania 19th century slip decorated redware plate with  yellow slip zig zag decoration on red body.  6-1/4" diam.  Overall condition is very fine with only two minor bits of flaking that can be seen at the top of the plate.  These have been there for a long time as they have blackened with age and use and have worn smooth to the touch.  Redware plates of this size are not commonly found and thus much sought after by collectors.  A very special addition to any collection.
