Full Length Silhouette of a Young Boy Presented here, a wonderful full length watercolor silhouette of a young boy identified as James Munk, 6-1/2 years old and dated July 16, 1844. James Edward Munk was the third of seven children born to Edward and Sarah (Franks) Munk on January 16, 1838. He was 6-1/2 years old when this silhouette was painted. It is finely executed and embellished with gold highlights on the clothes as well as on the hair. The silhouette is in excellent condition and measures 4-3/4" x 6-1/4" (sight size) It is framed in a Rosewood veneer frame with lemon gold liner that adds an additional 1-3/4" to each side. $1650.00 R05J23009 Questions?
