Tiny Robin's Egg Blue Pantry Box
Presented here, a wonderful little round Pantry Box in Robin's Egg Blue paint.  The camera is playing tricks again with the color.  The box is not the electric blue as shown, but much softer. As is the case with painted objects that have had much use, the paint is thicker in some places than others where it has been worn down due to age and usage. Top and Bottom are pine and the sides are maple.

This is a sturdy little box fastened with wooden pegs.  The opposing laps are fastened with copper tacks.  Most recent usage was as a little sewing storage box as it was filled with pins, buttons and thread.  On the inside of the lid the name "Liza Jane Moss" is written in pencil in lovely script . . .  evidently she was an owner at some time in the life of the piece.  It measures 2-5/8" in diameter x 1-3/8" high and is in excellent condition, retaining much of it's original paint and showing good color.  A perfect little box for the top of the stack and we all know how hard those are to find!
