Tin Candle Mold with Double Ear Handle 6 x 4 Tubes Presented here is a very fine 24 Tube American Tin Candle Mold with double applied folded rim handles. Beautifully made, this is a fine example of the art of the Tinsmith. There are holes in the top tray through which the tie rods can be inserted. Unfortunately these have "gone away" sometime in the past but can easily be replaced should the new owner wish to use the mold to actually make candles. The mold is 10-1/2" tall and the top is 10" x 7-1/2". Nice wide solder lines indicate a fairly early piece and the patina is wonderful with very little, if any surface rust.
