Tiny Red Shaker Box
Presented here, a fine little Three Finger Shaker Box, perfect for the top of the stack.  The red is not as bright as the picture shows . . . more like a brick red.  It has a nicely oxidized surface. This small oval box is made of formed maple with a pine top and bottom and secured by means of copper rivets. The top is 3-1/2"long x 2-1/2"wide and the box is 1-1/4" high.  Probably New Lebanon, NY.  Circa 1840.
