Storage Powder Horn

Presented here, a very fine 21 inch Storage Powder Horn with wonderful relief carving.  The design elements are all different and the horn presents itself beautifully.  Horns such as this would most likely be hung on the wall within easy reach (but not too close to the fireplace) and were used as storage containers for black powder from which the smaller, powder horns that an individual carried would be filled.
