19th C. Carved Double Sided Gameboard Not your ordinary Gameboard. . . this is a wonderful 19th Century, boldly designed, carved gameboard with Parcheesi on one side and Checkers/Chess on the reverse . . . Wonderful graphics! The use of both carved linear and compass designs produce a gameboard that is unique in both design and execution. The background is black, now a bit faded while the carved designs in white are still boldly graphic. It's a wonderful, artistic, graphic presentation of a gameboard. If you look closely at the photos , at the top you will see protrusions at the corners which show the shrinkage due to age. Size: H 19-3/4" x W 20". Excellent original condition.
