Very Fine Molded Chalk Cat bank with original paint. The walls are quite thick so it is very sturdy and made to last. The fact that the coin slots are oversized, to get the coins out easily, is probably why it is a "survivor"! Not many banks were, as they had to be broken to retrieve the precious coins. Pennsylvania, circa 1880. H 5" L 6-1/8". Excellent condition.
