Attributed to James Holsey Whitcomb, a deaf-mute of Hancock, New Hampshire. Circa 1835. As depicted, a delightful work; hollow-cut left shoulder and head detailed with bright watercolor. Beneath the profile is the printed label of John Blake Jr.
