Tabletop Ratchet Trammel Candle Stand

Presented here, A wonderful piece of early iron . . . a hand wrought Iron Three Arm Tabletop Candle Stand with a ratchet-type trammel that is 21 inches high. There are two adjustment levels along the trammel or it can sit flat on the circular base.  Pictured above, it is in the middle position where the candle cups are 10 inches high but it can be adjusted up one more level where the candle cups are 13-1/2 inches high or when seated on the base the candle cups are 6 inches high.  The base being circular allows for good stability. The oxidized surface is  evenly colored and shows appropriate wear from the device being moved up and down the trammel.
