Paint-decorated Treen Wooden Cup, circa 1830.
H 5-1/2" W 3-5/8".
A wonderful early piece of Treen showcasing the Turner's art and the Painter's imagination. Most likely the same person!  The colors show most realistically in the photo directly below . . . Reds, Blue-Green, Black and Gold . . . All mellowed with time but still striking in their presentation. All in all, a wonderful example of a painted treen cup/chalice.
