19th C. Table Top or "Valuables" Box Circa 1820-40 table top box in the always desirable original robin's egg blue paint. The box has a nice dry surface, just the way we like it. Square nail and dovetailed construction; lid with molded edges retains original hinges. There once was a small till for storage inside the box but it has since "gone missing". The box is signed on the interior, Geo. G. Paige, presumably the owner. While a bit larger than other "valuables" boxes, this could also display nicely sitting on the floor. Size is 25 inches long by 13 inches deep by 11 inches high. R0I04597 5731 Questions? Ask the Ferret!
