Iron Pie Peel Presented here a handsome specimen of a Blacksmith's talent. Known as a "Pie Peel" it was used to place a pie plate into a cooking location or remove same. Rare and wonderful and in excellent condition. It measures 15-3/4" from the heart shaped handle to the pie plate lifter which is 4-1/2" in diameter. A very special piece from a Vermont collection of early iron, circa 1750-1810, probably of Pennsylvania origin. P8G2504953 Questions? Ask the Ferret!
